Detective Lapera (Kathy Najimy) offers to help with the case and Susan accepts, only to find out later that Susan and Detective Lapera have a checkered past. A Spanish language film that follows the life of an American Indian tribe, a Mexican family and an American Calvary, shortly after the Mexican American War in 1850. Karl plays Peter Hanlon, a scout for American Calvary leader Captain Tagart, (Kenny Johnston) whose torched-earth policy challenges the integrity and morale of his team. They embark on a journey clearing Mexicans from what is to become Texas and along the way make extra money killing and scalping Apache Indians for the Mexican Government. A beautifully shot film that captures the beauty of the west in Cananea, Mexico where some of the real events took place. |
